Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning

Security Compliance Associates (SCA) will conduct a review of the institution’s existing business continuity/disaster recovery plan and provide an assessment based upon compliance with Federal Regulations, FFIEC guidance, industry standards and SCA best practices.  The resulting report will provide a solid basis for drafting/revising the institution’s business continuity/disaster recovery plan.

Security Compliance Associates’ business continuity/disaster recovery program review begins with information gathering.  Security Compliance Associates will conduct a series of interviews with personnel identified as key contacts utilizing a series of proprietary questionnaires, checklists and forms to collect information about the institution’s existing business continuity/disaster recovery program and to identify and document existing and potential resources.

SCA will present a written report and conduct a management briefing of findings and recommendations.  SCA will show how existing policies, procedures, practices and vendor arrangements may be integrated into the new or revised business continuity/disaster recovery program.

Security Compliance Associates (SCA) will create a Business Impact Analysis which becomes the basis of a fully functional and compliant business continuity/disaster recovery program addressing natural and man-made disasters.
