Information Security Program Review

The Information Security Program Review is performed in conjunction with the Meaningful Use Security Risk Analysis or the HIPAA Security Assessment in order to assist our clients’ compliance in respect to “safeguarding electronic healthcare records” per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act of 2009.

It entails a comprehensive review of the existing information security posture. In order to guarantee compliance, as well as provide informed opinion, it is necessary to review the entire enterprise from a “safeguarding sensitive information” point of view. The Program Review provides a baseline for the current state of practice and it will be measured against industry best practices, SCA best practices and regulatory compliance.
